About CHS Volleyball
The Clarksville High School Volleyball Team, the Wildcats, {a/k/a the VolleyCats}, has 16 student members. The VolleyCats won the 2007 Tennessee District 10AAA high school volleyball championship. The overall grade point average of these student athletes is over 3.50 on a 4.0 scale. The teams include a junior varsity, which includes freshmen and sophomores and a varsity team that has seniors, juniors and sophomores. The coach of the varsity is Courtney Roberts. The J.V. coach and assistant varsity coach is Jamie DeAnda. The booster club for the team is The VolleyCats, Inc., a Tennessee non-profit corporation. The team appreciates the support of the students and teachers at Clarksville High School as well as the parents that work so hard to make this program a success. 2007 saw CHS Volleyball history as both the Varsity and J.V. versions of the VolleyCats posted double digit winning seasons. This is the first time that both teams had at least 10 wins in the same season.
